Façades based on the multi-layer principle

Rear-ventilated façades consist of several layers; thermal insulation and outer facades are separate from each other. The advantage is obvious: Greatest possible freedom of planning for the façade design. The façade cladding can be manufactured from a wide variety of materials and can thus be optimally adjusted to the character, surrounding, and function of the building. In many instances this will increase the building's value and improve occupancy rate and profitability, for example in office blocks

Climate protection with a visual appeal

The multi-layer principle ensures the greatest possible flexibility, and not only when it comes to design options. Also with regard to energy efficiency is this façade form convincing in that the thickness of the insulation can easily be adjusted to various energetic requirements of the respective building. The rear-ventilation space furthermore ensures optimal air exchange, removes humidity, and thus creates a comfortable indoor climate.
